Munich Strong BeerfestAvailability good
THIS TOUR INCLUDES THE ENTRY TICKET AND TABLE RESERVATION FOR THE STRONG BEERFEST ON SATURDAY NIGHT!
Believe it or not, Strong Beerfest dates back to the Paulaner monks and their creation of Salvator “starkbier” (strong beer) in order to maintain satisfied bellies and spirits during the fasting period of Lent. No wonder they referred to it as “Flussiges Brot” (liquid bread)!
“Starkbierfest” (Strong Beer Fest), a more cultural yet equally fun version of Oktoberfest and Springfest, occurs over a four-week period in early spring in beer halls and breweries throughout the city. The traditional beer hall atmosphere will not disappoint – German food ranging from massive pretzels to bratwurst, beermaids and lederhosen and brass bands playing Bavarian drinking songs.
But be sure not to over look Munich itself with its mix of traditional and modern culture and see why it is regularly voted the most livable city, not just in Germany but in the world.

Sunday - Visit Dachau Concentration Camp

Breakfast is included. You will need to have enough money for snacks, drinks, lunch and dinner plus any entrance fees to museums and other attractions, local transport and finally for any souvenirs you choose to buy. The most important thing to know is that they do accept credit or debit cards at Strongbeerfest but they do not like to split the bill so it is better to have cash.
A stein of beer (1 litre/34 fluid ounces) costs around €9.00 depending on the brewery. Munich is a similar price or maybe a little bit more expensive than Florence but the food is very good quality and there are a lot of different options including all of your American fast food favorites, Brats, pretzels and more...
